Husband and wife chefs Brendon Mitchell & Katie Krauss-Mitchell have made some changes to their charge, The Hotel Max. Prahran’s classic old world pub, is attracting crowds that revel in the pleasures, but not the pretense, of passionately prepared food and quality wines. The Max dining room has been refreshed using Lorna Wallace Design and is dotted with lamp lit tables, and adorned with retro artwork. Cool music plays in the background and is home to a loyal clientele of local diners. The Corner Cellar Bar is fantastic place for a quick glass of wine with a freind, or a long lunch with an amazing wine list.
